Production practice and dress rehearsals

Talofa Bloggers and all viewers,

Today I will be sharing about what we have been preparing and doing for our production for where the wild things are, such as production practice and dress rehearsals.

First, the students were roughly divided into 3 cultural groups which were Bollywood, Samoan, and Tongan.

I got selected to be in Samoan group and I was delighted and full of joy and so grateful to be put in this exceptional group. It was the first day of production practice and it was well organized and it went amazingly great. We got through most of the actions for our first performance. I was proud of myself because I was able to remember all the actions and moves for the next practice.

The more days we had practice the harder it got and the more we suffered from tiredness. The comparison between the first practice to all the other practices we had was way different from the first practice, but instead, the opposite happened. there were times that we laughed and enjoyed times together. but there were times that we had to be serious and try to stay focused.

Most of our busy days were of the "hurry and wait for" variety. Everything would turn out to be lunatic and hectic especially during dress rehearsals. Yelling, shouting and deafening gossiping surrounding the whole room.

The dress rehearsal was surprisingly stunning. If felt like I was performing at a concert with an actual audience trying to entertain them and make them feel buoyant.

It was a great way to end the practices with some fresh cool air outside.

Feel free to leave some thoughtful, helpful and respectful feedback.
ThankYou
